R.A Jones

R.A Jones decided to go solar after an employee-driven initiative aimed at reducing the company’s environmental footprint and preparing for long-term energy stability. The primary motivation was to embrace sustainability and reduce reliance on traditional energy sources, with the added benefit of supporting electric vehicle charging for employees. In partnership with Melink Solar, R.A. Jones installed 3,773 solar panels, covering the roof of their manufacturing facility in Covington, Kentucky. Spanning thousands of square feet, this solar array generates 2.12 million kWh annually, meeting 54% of the facility’s energy needs. The system also includes electric vehicle charging stations, helping the company embrace greener practices across the board.
