What causes the need for a revisit?
We recommend a revisit if there are any airflow-related issues that need to be measured with calibrated equipment. The entire HVAC system must be installed, started and operating properly before a complete test and balance may be performed. When system deficiencies or site conditions prevent the completion of the balance, revisits may become necessary to make final balancing adjustments after the deficiencies are corrected.
When will I receive the TAB report after the balance is completed?
A punch list of deficiencies is issued immediately following the TAB visit, enabling the owner and contractors to begin correcting issues right away. The full TAB report usually is delivered three to five business days after completion of the TAB.
